Posted - May 30 2009 : 11:19:00 AM I have 2 Catmint bushes but have never harvested from them. They are pretty big. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what uses are there for Catmint?
Thanks ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Jun 19 2009 : 1:46:29 PM Catmint is an excellent natural mosquito repellant. Infuse in hot water, put in a spray bottle, and spritz when you're going outside. Just don't use on children under the age of 3.

Posted - Jun 19 2009 : 12:05:40 PM Catmint is good for the stomach, an excellent tea. It can also be used to soothe a colicky baby - much watered down of course. |

It's good in tea, it's a sedative for humans (go figure). It goes nice with Lemon Balm and Lavender.

Posted - Jun 16 2009 : 09:46:31 AM You can dry the leaves and use them for tea. I think it helps relax you and can soothe a stomach ache sort of like peppermint. Also you can dry them and make things for the kitties. And it would probably be a good herb to use for fleas. It also attracts bees when it flowers.
