Posted - Nov 21 2005 : 04:45:19 AM I'll bite ! I would suggest first, get a good field guide for your area and study it out on your walks. I take mine with me everytime I forage, just to make sure I got the right plant, etc. Most will tell you where to find them, when to harvest and what parts to use. As for preserving, I like to dry mine, and store in a airtight container and I keep them in my dark pantry. I'm not as advanced as BEB yet, so hope this helps, at least to get the ball rolling.....
