I am SO excited to announce that In 2008, MaryJane plans on holding their Farm Fair on July 5 and 6 (Sat. and Sun.) in Oakesdale, Washington where their Old Mill is (you can read more about the Old Mill here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/About/our-historic-flour-mill.asp). Farm Fair has outgrown MaryJanesFarm, and they are just thrilled to have a venue like the Old Mill to be able to share. The town has a fabulous restaurant, a museum and some of the loveliest farmgirls on earth!!! The folks of Oaksdale are some amazing people, and you will just love everyone you meet there...And, any profits go towards the ongoing renovations of the Old Mill. MaryJanesFarm is about a 50 minute drive from the mill, so we can still have a Farmgirl Chapter Campout here and the wonderful B&B will be available, too. MJF is not taking reservations for 2008 yet at the B&B, but we'll make an exception for those of you who want to book a "room" for the Farm Fair dates!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

XOXO, Libbie

I would love to make the trip from Long Island. Mentioned the idea to my dh and he said, "So make it your summer vacation!" I am going to think and think about how to organize this for myself and a friend (DH is landscaping then, so he cannot come:(. It would be so worth it!

Well - I hope I didn't make it sound like they weren't taking reservations for Farm Fari 2008!!! They certainly are! And - I know they'll be taking reservations soon. It's not that it's all full, it's just that they're not taking reservations for any times other than Farm Fari 2008 yet! Whoa - 2009 - that IS Judy Jetson time zone material, as far as I'm concerned, too!!!

XOXO, Libbie

Thank you Libbie, No reservations in 2008! Good Gravy! I think I need to call and reserve 2009! 2009? Sounds like a Judy Jetson time zone away! I need to calm myself. Alright, I've got a grip. I will simply have to call and nail something down for the future. Tracy from NC

Hi there, Tracy! Although MaryJanesFarm isn't taking B&B reservations for all of 2008, they ARE taking reservations for stays during Farm Fair - you can just give them a call at 888-750-6004. They'll have more Wall Tent B&B information for you...

Sherri - you'll want to call MaryJanesFarm, also, and ask about vendor applications - I'm not sure on that one!

As for 2007, there wasn't a Farm Fair held at MJF, but Brenda's Past Blessings show was the farmgirl gathering spot this year - and it sounds like they had a great time! There's more information here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9845.

XOXO, Libbie

I would love to go. Could someone fill me in on the specifics on where to stay etc, The B&B would be wonderful. How do I get a reservation, more important-is it possible to get one? I'm fairly new to this so can someone fill me in. Is there a 2007 Farm Fair. Thanks for any help. Tracy from NC

Wouldn't that be fun if we could all go as State Farmgirl Chapter groups? Or at least meet up with farmgirls from our state up there? What a great opportunity to put names with faces -- Oh...I am just so excited!!!!! I can hardly wait...

Okay, Kate and Sunshine and all you Utah farmgirls - carpool? Ummmmm...Aunt Jenny has a van (hint hint!)

Thanks!

Add me to the list...I will be there. Marking it "IN INK" on my MaryJane Calendar right now (well, marking it on my 2007 calendar and I'll transfer it when the next one comes out!)

I haven't posted on the Forum in a long time. Busy with renovations and getting the B'n B closer to opening. Now I am having fun catching up on what's been happening around here and what's going on in everyone's lives. Reminds me that I need to update my blog and website. So many new faces, new blogs and wonderful new ideas...always a breath of fresh air to come on here. Makes me feel grounded again. Lisa

I'll be there too...I really like that it's NOT on July 4th. That is hubby's birthday, plus with the fun Coeur d' Alene, Idaho parade and fireworks...well it was hard to pick what to do last year (2006). I did opt to go to 'The farm.' But thanks for making it on the 5th and 6th of July. I hope to have a booth again.
