On the list of ingredients for Mary Jane's Budget Mix is Barron Flour Mill Baking Powder (aluminum/sodium/gluten-free, made with non-GMO organic rice starch).

Is there any way to purchase this product? I do volunteer work with a child who has a metabolic disorder - he has an inherited genetic condition that does not permit his body to process fats. He also has an un-related allergy to aluminum. Because of his metabolic disorder, his diet is limited to primarily vegetables and carbohydrates, with only *occasional* super-lean cuts of meat such as chicken, turkey, buffalo, ostrich, and venison -- all with skin removed and all excess fat trimmed.

Many of the commercially-prepared foods contain alumized baking powder. His diet contains nearly no processed foods - which is extremely good for him. But the *one* item that his diet doesn't include at the present is any standard loaf of bread. I am buying some of the Budget Mix to pass along to the family to try (along with some recipes for some Bake Overs.)

Any info about the Barron Flour Mill Baking Powder would be much appreciated! ~ K

I've been hoping it will be for sale soon. MJ said awhile back that it would be too expensive to purchase yet & that she'll make it available when she can. Can't wait.

Hi Kaylyn,

I'm sorry to hear about your friend! MaryJane would like to send him some of the Barron's Baking Powder to see if that might help with his diet. Can you send me your address via email so we can send the package to you??

Good Luck!

Check on her website or in one of the magazines. In the magazines she talks about it, but I'm not sure if she sells it yet.

Blessed Be!
