Just wanted to post a few pictures I took. Hope you all enjoy them!

This is a beautiful old barn that you see when turn to drive up Wild Iris Lane to the farm.

One of the beds in the Plum Pit.

Our own Patricia (UtahFarmGirl)snuggled in the bed above. Reminds me of the Princess and the Pea.

Missy resting in the Plum Pit after a hard day of selling.

The adorable chicken coop -- notice all the garlic scapes.

Missy going into the chicken coop.

MJ's spoiled "girls".

Some of our "wares".

We're looking forward to seeing you too CindyLou!!! I was just thinking how I had been missing seeing your posts. I went huckleberry picking YEARS ago up in the mountains outside the gorge. They were really good. I would love to have the recipe for the coffee cake you were handing out at farm fair. Were those huckleberrys? Can you still be reached through the farm e-mail address?

Anyhoo, thanks for the compliments on the pics. Just took them with my little kodak digital. Nothing special!! Glad you are enjoying them.

Blessings,

Missy

Hi Missy!
I'm glad that everyone is enjoying your beautiful pictures!! I can't wait to see you and your Mom in August! I just set up my laptop at home yesterday ~ have been blissfully busy picking huckleberries 3 days last week and picking 8 gallons of cherries from my dear neighborette's tree. I am in hunter-gathering heaven!

Thanks Jo!! Glad you enjoyed it. I think I may try to paint it. The hills remind me of pages out of a story book because the shape and color are almost too perfect to be real. And then the little tufts of trees and farms tucked here and there. Just love it.

Blessings,

Missy

Missy,

Your photo titled View on the way to the Farm is absolutely stunning. It'd make a great framed print, wouldn't it? It just takes my breath away. Reminds me somewhat of the rolling hills in Virginia, just gorgeous.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your Farm Fair photos - it's so neat to put faces with the names around the forum!

Thanks Cindylou!! I hadn't looked at the pictures except on my camera and when I pulled up the one of the hills on my computer it almost brought tears to me eyes. I was feeling frustrated that my camera hadn't captured what I could see with my eyes and I wanted to be able to share that with everyone. It's still not the same as being there, but I was pleased that the beautiful colors showed up.

Looking forward to seeing you in August!!

Love and Blessings,

Missy

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures!!! Still haven't gotten to mine yet. I'm helping with vacation bible school all week, sooooo not sure when I'll get them up. Our computer is kinda slow, so it takes awhile to get the pictures ready.

Seeing the pictures makes me miss it as well. You girls all looked so cute!!

Wow!
What great photos! I love the barn pic, it looks like it should be on a postcard.

I have to say, the cutest is Patricia! Maybe that's because I love her like my Mama!

Love.

Wonderful photos! Thanks so much for sharing, and your booth is fabulous! I love the soft colors and the country chic feeling of it. The chickens are so pretty and the bed with the mosquito netting......big sigh....wish I could have been there. Were you sleeping outside? Mmmmmmmmm......fab!! I will dream of meeting all of you at the next farm fair! Gotta start saving now.

You guys are so sweet!! Isn't that barn just the coolest thing? I love old barns and there were many like that where we were. Just wish I had a better camera to really capture it. I think Patricia has some pics of me -- although I avoid the camera as much as I can! Ellen -- nothing would have been better than if you could have been there too. Maybe next year!

I got so many wonderful ideas just from visitng the farm. It was very inspiring and makes me determined to turn my place into something more beautiful. I'm picking out a spot up by the woods behond my house for a sitting and eating place -- just under the canopy of the trees. If it didn't rain so darn much here I'd have a bed up there too!

Kay, those are wonderful, inviting pictures. And the farm is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing, it's just what I've been waiting to see. So glad that you and Missy got to go, I hope it was a success for your booth, too. Can't wait to hear and see more from everyone else, too.

CindyLou- Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. You were so good to us and thank you for the taking the time to "just chat" as I'm sure you were so busy. It was hard to say good-bye, but hope to see you again next year. (maybe sooner, my husband and I are looking into relocating and the Moscow area is definately a consideration for us now- Sooo beautiful!!)

You all did such an awesome job and should be so proud of your hard work. It was amazing!!!

Love and Blessings,

Missy

Just got back in town from a trip (sadly, not to the Farm Fair) and couldn't wait to check out the stories and pictures from the Farm Fair. Kay, the images are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing them. I'm hoping we hear lots more about the weekend! Help us poor girls who couldn't go feel a part of it! (Hope it's not the "what happened at the Farm Fair, stays at the Farm Fair" thing.) Please! More! Tell us everything!

Kay ~ your pictures are bee-utiful!! I soooooo enjoyed meeting you and Missy!! I will always remember our first meeting when you two came waltzing up in your beautiful aprons as we were setting up our booths. I'm so glad to have had the pleasure of spending a little time with you both ~ you are such enthusiastic, creative farmgirls!
The time went by too quickly but we have lots of wonderful memories!!
Thank you for the linen water ~ I've washed all my aprons and table cloths and look forward to ironing them soon!
