Posted - Oct 25 2010 : 12:35:56 PM We drove Mom's teal two-ton flat bed pickup in our University of Idaho's Homecoming Parade this weekend! It poured rain but what fun we had parading down our little Main Street representing our Buy Local Moscow program.
My little Stella (who turns four this month!) took her job of handing out organic lollipops very seriously. Mom and I took turns pushing my Mia (a year and a half already) in her stroller and eating lollipops. Those Yummy brand organic lollipops are very good.
That's my dad driving the truck...
All in all, a wonderful time. Hope you all had a lovely weekend too!

Posted - Oct 25 2010 : 4:21:25 PM Oh my gosh, Meg - that looks like SO much fun! A little rain won't make us melt! You know, that truck looks very similar to the '49 Chevy flatbed my husband restored years ago - it was our wedding getaway car! AND it rained that day!!! LOL! I always attribute rain to good luck and new beginnings, so I was a happy bride! His aunt always says, "Whenever I saw that beautiful bride climb on up into that truck in her white wedding gown, I knew it was true love and a marriage that would last!" LOL!!! I loved every minute of it! I'd love to attach a picture, but I have no idea how! Anyhow - thanks so much for sharing! 'Wish I could've been right there dancing in the rain with everyone! :) - Nini
