Please remember, girls, not to SHOUT (all CAPS equals shouting on the Web) on our forum--even in headings--and please, please, please stick with the default font size, which is a size 2. Our moderators have to go in and put everything back to normal every time someone forgets the rules. IF WE ALL DID CAPS AND BIG LETTERS, THE FORUM WOULDN'T BE READABLE. Remember, everyone's posts are equal in importance; please be courteous to our moderators as well as to everyone else. No CAPS and no fonts bigger than 2. Thank you!

Thank you! I'll try to not mis-use caps anymore. We all need a reminder from time to time.

Does that apply to our signatures or taglines or whatever they are called? I've seen lots of color and caps in those. Is that okay?

Thanks for responding Julie. Yes, the occasional CAPS emphasis is okay, just go easy on it and LOL is fine Liza-Jane!

I would guess if you use it once or twice in a sentence to emphasize a word (for example "There was a HUGE snake in my yard!") you are fine. I have seen people type their entire message in all caps or even enlarge the font of the whole message. If you arent doing that I bet you are probably okay!

just wondering....can we use all caps in a sentence to make something stand out, or is this just for headings?

Sorry Carol. I'm probably guilty of emphasizing a certain word in a sentence using caps. Not meaning to shout, but I can see that it might be misread as that. I will try especially hard to watch myself. What about things like "LOL"? Is that ok?

I just recently learned that all caps means yelling in text and internet language. Never knew that. Will be more cautious! Lets all help out the forum and our moderators. Blessings, Linda
