BobbiLynn	Posted - Apr 27 2010 : 10:08:16 PM Hi ! This is my first time to be a part of the Farmgirl Connection ! I have a chicken dilemma, and wondered if anyone has ideas... I have seven very sweet hens, one of which is brooding this whole week. We don't have a rooster, but a friend said she would give me some fertile eggs to put under her, so my kids and I can experience the joy of baby chicks ! However... we are having to move in July , and my chicken barn /run is currently for sale . If I started this process, and the barn sells before the chicks are hatched, can my hen safely be moved to a different area, and continue to set ? Or will it disrupt her, and I would lose the chicks ?? I just don't know if i should even try it, but I would LOVE to experience this before I have to give up my chickens all together. Any input would be greatly appreciated !! Joyfully, BobbiLynn
