Oh Wowzer!
I truly shopped till dropped, well till my feet hurt anyways!
What great farm girl vendors!
I wish I could have bought from them all, but alas my credit card can only stretch so far! Actually didn't want to have to do any "esplainin Lucy"...lol!
I have to tell you, it is so delightful to talk with the gals, touch & hug the handcrafted goodies, smell all the soaps & lotions and day dream of someday having a wee one that can wear a sweet handcrafted jacket & matching Beanie....
It is amazing, the talents of these marvolus ladies.
I (we) also got to taste fabulous organic tofu products, organic wines & coffee and our lunch at Settlers creek was also all organic...It was all so wonderful!
So, now to start planning for next years Farm Fair....

I too was pooped out shopping the Palouse but I have to tell you, I made my first barter ever. It was for my 1920's Singer treadle sewing machine. I brought home a beautiful antique quilt, embroidered shams and an old ladder for it. What a deal! I continued to find something in every town I happened into. I even found Cheri in Tekoa for my heirloom roses. Everyone I met along the way was so sweet and friendly. This was definetly something I will not forget. Hope to do it again next year.

It was so much seeing everyone and meeting everyone face-to-face!!

And thanks for stopping by since Mom and I were at the stand most of the day on Saturday! It was so fun to have people come up and say "I'm a Farmgirl!!"

Oh, Grace, we were just pooped! Our slow-down general lifestyle just couldn't take another moment. It was just too much excitement for us to stay. Though I know I really missed out on a fun time dancing and was so looking forward to it. I just was full-to-overflowing with fun. It was good to just lay on the couch in my trailer yesterday and read a book after tidying up the horses and garden. It is fun to get away, but so good to get back to routine too. Events like this remind us of all the goodness in all the parts of our lives.

haha! Sandy, I was the one wearing the crazy black-&-white "kat eyed" framed sunglasses... they are way over the top & I luv 'em!
Michelle, you didn't get Steve out there on the floor? Oh and I had such high hopes! lol!
Rene' how's your sunburn? I think you need to take a 'break' and pop over to Rosalia & hang out with Michelle, Karen & I out in the pasture, drinking huckleberry wine farm girl style.
hugz, hugz & more hugz

Rene' you had me crying at Settlers Creek with your moving speech. You are an amazing get-er-done gal and with such panache! I can't thank you enough for all you do. I'm pooped and happy. I didn't get around the buggy part, but I'm hoping to set the house in order and then go out and do it with a few gals who didn't get to attend. It is a wonderful shopping route any time of the year. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
