There has been a little confusion over the Sunday July 5th's event. So I thought I would take a moment and clear it all up.

Some of us have registered online thinking that it automatically saves us a ticket. IT DOES NOT. There are two steps in the registration process:

1) Letting us know that you are coming (this provides us with numbers http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/FarmFair2009/registration.asp so we can plan ALL the events accordingly.

2) Purchasing your ticket for Sunday's Luncheon. http://shopping.maryjanesfarm.org/s.nl/it.A/id.1894/.f

The Luncheon is the ONLY part of the weekend that has an admission.YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND WITHOUT A WRIST BAND & YOU CANNOT DRIVE TO THIS EVENT~ YOU MUST BE CHAUFFERED! Worried you can't stay the whole time? No Problem, we will get you back to your car as needed. You will get full instructions when you pick up your tickets at the store Friday night or Saturday in Oakesdale.

Tickets are available on a "First Come First Purchase" basis. Seating is limited. If you think that you have purchased your tickets, here is a simple test. Did the site ask you for your Credit Card number? And, were you sent a confirmation number? If not... YOU NEED TO GO TO THE PURCHASE TICKET LINK AND GET A TICKET.

Hope this helps!

Here is a little teaser for the event:

Sunday Afternoon
Come celebrate with us back at Coeur d’Alene at Chris and Shannon Varela’s Settler’s Creek Farm for a day of Simple Organics. Nestled in the shadows of a silo, the grounds will be adorned with elegant tables decorated by fellow farmgirls, with additional picnic-style seating around the grassy amphitheater. Enjoy a delicious organic “Earth Dinner” luncheon, live music, and exclusive Coeur d’Alene area vendors. Listen to speakers from MaryJanesFarm and Organic Valley, as well as Jennifer Hall of Main Market Co-op in Spokane. Learn who will wear the title of “farmgirl sister of the year” as well as first-hand news from the farm. As the day begins to wind down, kick off your shoes and learn how to line dance. It is truly an afternoon you won’t want to miss. It is the most perfect ending to the most perfect 4th of July farmgirl weekend. Tickets for this event are $30 and can be purchased here, after registering.

I can promise you that this is an afternoon you won't want to miss, so don't let someone else get YOUR ticket.

Unfortunately Grace, we're starting over on Thursday evening - won't get there til Friday, noonish I think. We're going to drive as far as Ellensburg Thursday night and stay. DH has to work 10 hours on Thursday, then it's a 2 hour drive home, so I don't expect we'll get out of here until 8 or 9. Wish I could join you though!!!

Grace,
I can hardly sleep I am so excited. Sunday is going to be so great. The whole weekend will certainly be fun. But Sunday will be such a sweet time to sit and mingle and visit and do a little two-stepping! More intimate and everyone in one place. The speakers are SO great and a few surprises here and there. I think it will be a great time of really getting a chance to connect with one another. CAN'T wait.

By the way, I have been out of the loop, as I have been a little busy. DID the Cheney girls already meet with the K-Falls gals?

MaryJane, I must concur,,(ref:wedding),,why waste wonderful "party gathering/playing space" on cars,,,and how wonderful of the Hosts to consider the saftey of their guests.
I so look forward to all 3 days but most of all Sunday's event...I can hardly wait to meet up with & listen to the speakers from 'Organic Valley' as well as Jennifer from MM Co-op.....and even thou I have 3 left feet I will give it my all for the 'Boogying-line dancing' thing! just try not to laugh to hard I pretty much look like a lizard getting stung by a bee when I try to dance! lol!
Hugz to all of you who have worked so hard & tirelessly(is that a word?) to put this wonderful event together & big hugz to MaryJane for her inspiration to create this wonderful event.
Ok, only 2 1/2 days left! WAhoooooo!

While I’m waiting for my outside bathtub to heat, I’d like to add to what Rene posted. Two weeks ago, I traveled with my daughter and her youngest to Napa Valley. Meg was a bridesmaid in a fancy three-day wedding affair--a dear friend from college. I was the designated Nanny. Since Meg is still nursing, I’d fetch and deliver a hungry baby on time. Lucas and Stella Jane stayed home. The wedding was held on the grounds of a GORGEOUS vineyard--a rooster crowed during the ceremony. After dancing and dining the night away, the chauffers showed up to take us all away--same thing as above, no parking. Why waste precious ground on a parking lot when you can grow grapes? As we were leaving, the cooks were handing out little 3-bite burgers and fries in a paper tray. (Earlier we’d had an extravagant dinner.) What a great idea for the drinkers in the crowd! Also, with transportation provided, no one who’d been drinking was driving a car. It was a real treat to be delivered to a GORGEOUS farm off limits to cars. It made the evening just that much more special. I cannot WAIT for this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Farm Fair HERE WE COME!
