So it is official, two weeks from today we will be visiting with each other at the Mall in Coeur d Alene. Seems un-real! Here is the schedule of the events for the weekend.http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/FarmFair2009/event_schedules.asp#friday

I promise you, there isn't a moment that you will want to miss. By the time the 4th roles around, we will have been plotting and planning for exactly one year and a month. We will have had a ton of meets, made countless new friends along the way, worked with 7 of the greatest communities on the Palouse, laughted, sweated and been gitty beyond words.

If you havent gotten you tickets for the Sunday event, don't wait to much longer. Seating is limited and when they are gone... they are gone.

See you in 14 days!

ALSO...
Hi all! Looking forward to this weekend and just wanted you all to know that there will be 15 copies of The Oakesdale Writers Group Improv Magazine Edition 1 available (signed by the authors!) at Amy Warwick's book signing at Ditzy's this week-end. This has the first peek at my next novel in it along with some fantastic writing from our writers in Oakesdale. (We grow a great crop here!) This will be a limited edition print, first come, first serve. If you want to see what the next book is about, please stop by and pick up a copy before they are all gone. My book signing at Ditzy's is from 3-5. If you are in Oakesdale earlier than that, have Laurie give me a call and I can come in and sign your book anytime.

Also, stop by and visit with my son at the library table next door. He is selling the Library cookbooks for the library that have all of our local favorite dishes in it. I even have a couple of recipes in that one!

Rene,

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Can I ask what the tickets are about? Tickets for a specific event at Settlers Creeek. Color me stupid - I have been a bit busy with the planning, gardening, writing, and having seven kids at the house lighting off fireworks all week. I can't wait to meet so many of you! Please stop by my booth and say Hi!

(Hyperventilating) I just found...20's-40's vynal records AND a vintage wind-up (Yes, wind-up) record player to play them. So, got the barter and the boogie ready to go. Played one...oh, that tinny slightly scratchy jazz. Miss Wilma! I've got you dancing in my mind!

Get a load of these titles: The Wild, Wild Women; Hard-To-Get Gertie; Pistol Packin' Mama; Hit The Road; Stardust; Smoke Gets in Your Eyes...on and on (maybe 30-40 records?)

Anywho...I'm going to pick some out and see if I can set the whole thing up at a booth (or maybe just my farm) to share the fun old music. This is a treasure to share! If I had any tech savvy, I'd figure out a way to post the songs....oh, what fun!

Whee! Okay, I'm staying in Rosalia, of course, but I would love to meet up at the after-party. I'm SOO ready for this.

Sadly, I can't sell my wines until I form a winery. Darn revenuers! ;) But...There are lots of not-selling ways to enjoy it with friends. :)

Grace, I'd be flattered if you came in a please-sign-me apron! This is going to be a hoot!

I'm having so much fun just getting ready. My mom will have a booth in Oakesdale to represent a lot of creative farmgirls from Rosalia. Maybe next year our town will be inspired by MaryJane's wonderful vibe of hometown farmtown appreciation and have a festival of the 4th too!

I just finished my gown for Farm Fair!! I've pretty much decided that I'm "liberty-goddess/freedom-fairy!" It is a completely absurd, over the top ridiculous frock, which about sums me up!! I can not wait to see everyone, meet everyone and just bask in everyone's light and glory. Blessings to each of you!! ~julia
