Posted - Jun 04 2009 : 06:44:20 AM OK farmgirls, as of Tomorrow we are exactly 4 weeks to the day to Farm Fair... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
Here is the deal~ Farmgirls will be arriving Friday from ALL over. Friday Night~ we will meet up at MaryJanes Store in Coeur d’Alene, ID at 7:00 P.M. for a little Farmgirl fun and treasure hunt...And then after 9:00 we'll head back to "wherever" we are staying to prepare for a great SAT.
Saturday~ we will head to Rockford for the Official Start of the Buggy, Barter and Boogie Down the Palouse....Official start is 10:00 but come early as Jillian and Teresa will have their coffee shop opening the Town will have started the flee market ( minus the flees of course~ we didn’t invite them). Then when you are ready, you will travel to Fairfield, Tekoa, Oakesdale, a cute little fabric store in Garfield, and the Palouse. Each community offering so much fun... as each of the communities wind down around 7:00 p.m. you can choose to stay in Oakesdale for a community fireworks show, or head back to Couer d’ Aene and Spokane for theirs... Or maybe skip the fireworks all together and continue the Farmgirl fellowship....
Sunday~ Join us at Settler's Creek for an out luncheon on the beautiful grassy amphitheater; enjoy live music and special vendors. Sit and listen to MaryJane and several guest speakers share fun and exciting news in the world of a "farmgirls life". You will want to be there to hear who the "Farmgirl of the year is" and celebrate with her, her honor of the title. After all that, you'll still have time to wander and visit and even learn a little line dancing.
Tickets for the Sunday event are $30... Please, please, please be sure to reserve your ticket before June 20th as seating is limited.
There are not words to express how excited we are to have you come not only as our guests, but also to show off to the Palouse.... YOU!!! We cannot wait for you to meet the communities of the Palouse and for them to meet you... See you on the Palouse!!!

Posted - Jun 08 2009 : 08:31:06 AM Hi Rene! Is there a list of food vendors who will be at Oakesdale on Saturday anywhere? My group is trying to decide if we will eat from the vendors or bring a picnic. Some have food allergies. Thanks so much! Judy
