Howdy All!
I just wanted to let you folks know that we are planning on having a bird watching workshop here at the farm. For those of you who have been dying to make your way out to the farm, this may be just the thing!
The bird watching workshop will be taught by Ashley Martens. Ashley is planning a truly multi-sensory event. With our eyes, we will learn to classify and identify birds and their habitats. With our ears, we will learn to connect the sounds of birds with their identities and habits. With our hands, we will examine museum specimens of various local birds to learn about form and pattern.
The June 20th class will start at 7:30 a.m. and will end around 10:30 a.m., class fee is $25 and be sure to pack your own binoculars!
For those interested in signing up for this please email me at Brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org or give me a call 888-750-6004. Be sure to call soon because the class size is going to be limited so that Ashley can have plenty of time to answer individual questions.

You are more than welcome to pay for the class by cash, check or credit card. For credit card payments give me a call and I will enter the information over the phone. Please no emails with credit card numbers! If you would like to pay at the class with cash or check that will be fine to.
Important! If you want me to place you on the roster let me know how many folks will be accompanying you. Space is limited. I will be keeping a list of registrants with their emails so that I can pass out directions to the farm. Unless you really feel like driving about 3 miles North of the farm I would stay away from www.mapquest.com, it is not accurate in our area. :)
