THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! She's all done! I LOVE this blanket made by Farmgirls! Seriously, it just feels SO wonderful. Really, I want one! It has a very satisfying weight to it (if your a blanket girl, you know what I mean). I edged it with 3 rounds of single crochet in Natural. The blanket will be taken to the donation site this weekend. I am so very honored and humbled to work on such a wonderful project with such wonderful ladies! Thank you again!

How very sweet of you! I wouldn't want to take something for nothin' though. Maybe we'll have to arrange a swap? Wouldn't that be fun for us all to start getting blocks from farmgirls and sending out our own?

Theresa..its BEAUTIFUL! What a great job you did of putting it all together. I can crochet, but never did too much with blankets I had to join. (I made my daughter a purse you had to join & it didnt turn out so well.) 
I know you aren't asking, but I wouldnt mind sending you some squares to start one for yourself. Any colors you're particularly fond of? If you send me the link for the original post I can get dimensions & the yarn to use. Wish I would have seen it to make them for this blanket as well. Somehow I must have missed it. Seems like the perfect project to do now that the summer is on its way here. Supposed to be 92 today, so little lap projects are fun & not too warm.
What do you say girls anyone else up for that? |
