Posted - Nov 03 2008 : 7:03:29 PM Alee, Tekoa is about in the middle between Spokane, CDA, Cheney, Moscow, & Pullman, about an hours drive from all of them. Marcy Jo you are welcome to stay with me, we might be packed in but the more the merrier! I might be able to pick you up from the airport, maybe you, Dawn, and whoever else is flying could time your flights so I could pick all of you up. I have a subaru that will seat 4 or 5/cozy.lol

Posted - Oct 10 2008 : 7:37:08 PM some of ya'll from the east might consider looking on amtraks site to take the train to spokane, washington. perhaps some locals could take you from there to couer d'alene which isn't too far away. the train would be the infamous Empire Builder that goes by Glacier National Park in Montana and is just a beautiful ride. check it out. cathy

Posted - Oct 03 2008 : 5:33:48 PM Wow Teresa Sue! That would be great! Yes, Nora sleeps in her own bed, but we might need to bring a pack-n-play for the trip or something. How far is Tekoa from CDA?

Posted - Oct 03 2008 : 5:04:28 PM Well...I live in downtown Coeur d'Alene. We have a large flat backyard with a fire pit and a 10x20 dog kennel. Like I said in the other post, I don't see why some ladies couldn't camp out at our place, and if you have dogs that get along with other dogs they could probably stay too! |

Hi Sherri, Plans are still being made but so far here is the plan. We will begin the event July 3rd in the evening in Coeur d alene, Idaho at the new store. The Sat July 4th we will get up and meet at Hurd's in Rockford and begin a road trip down the Palouse stopping at quaint communities along the trek for "bartering" opportunities. Finishing the evening back in Coeur d alene (or somewhere that has some great event) then Sunday we will have a closing event in the Coeur d alene area. Sat there will be an event at the old mill where we will have vendors and music and food and fun!
I am also checking "room" availability in the communities we are touring through and will post that as soon as possible. There will be "posters" and brochures to come.

Posted - Oct 01 2008 : 2:54:12 PM I'm going to need a place to stay and someone to let me ride in the back seat. I can't drive and need rides if my BF isn't going to be able to join in. I can pay for gas and I have a sleeping bag and tent if I could borrow a bit of lawn to pitch it on.

Posted - Oct 01 2008 : 2:39:26 PM Alee you are welcome to stay at my house, like I told Dawn I live in an old drafty farm house with one bathroom. If you bring Nora, I have a crib set up for my grandbabies, but maybe she is out of a crib? Your hubby is welcome too, or your mom.

Posted - Oct 01 2008 : 2:01:20 PM I'll need a place to stay! Not sure if Doug will be joining me or not. I may or may not leave Nora with a relative so I can party with everyone. If Doug doesn't come, then maybe my mom or one of my sisters might.
