Congratulations on quitting your job! You're going to love it. Gives you so much time to do the things you love. Now you can bake non-faux bread for the pure joy of it. The best things in life are free! JoAnn

Debi-
We are missing you terribly here Mama. We had such fun with Mima and she is a such an energetic blend of earthy mama and chic california girl- with the most beautiful heart, a true friend. We had sleepovers and adventures all over town and out at the farm. I loved sitting around the campfire with her and the girls talking into the night. We are all waiting to hear about Michelle's labor. If you let us know when she goes into labor we can light little candles for her and babykin's!
Love you- Rebekka

Debbi, We had so much fun at the farm and all the girls were wonderful. Did I read in another post that you quit your job? Will I have to stop the stitching on the pillow that reads" Do you take Visa? : ) Well I hope you did and it works out for you. I just read an article that people (mainly ones who have a paying job) spend $10 (minimum) on coffee etc they don't really need--that's over $3000 a year you can save by NOT working : ) Hope that granddaughter arrives soon! Mima, I adored meeting you at the farm! I'm so glad you got to stay so long. SO cool! I wish we could have talked more, I think we are kindred spirits. I hate those "heeby jeeby" nights, sometimes I get them right at home! What up with that? We will always remember our time at the farm too. Hope to see you again someday!
Love and hugs, Emme (and the girls)

It was so fun to meet you Mima! I'm sorry Nora was sick during your stay, I wish I had gotten to spend more time with you! Maybe I will have to come visit Moscow next time you are in town since I will be in Montana by then!

Ladies- Mima is the cutest person ever! She is so petite but a powerhouse of energy and loving spirit! She puts a smile on any face near her!

Hey sweet Julia!!!!!
I feel sooo bad! I had every good intention to come out and help you one day when I was on the farm! I didn't realize how far Spokane was from Moscow!!!!Duh....I was thinking like half an hour....and then all those windey country roads!!! Eek! Give me the L.A. freeway system any day!LOL!!![:I

I thought about you sooo often tho! Your saying "Being simple to simply be has become my new mantra!!!!" I'm gonna embroider it on a pillow sista!

I went up to the farm feeling exhausted, broken and kinda shattered! Life had become so frenetic! It was just such a gift to be able to slow it way way down!

I LOVED my little wall tent! My wood stove, my lantern, the unbelievable views from my tent-ever changing! My cozy bed, waking and sleeping with the sun ,sounds of just the wind in the trees and the birds.AND!!!!THE BATH! Nothing like taking a bath under the stars!!! I felt like I died and went to heaven! All that wonderful time to think, to be grateful...You realize whats important in life and how little you need to be happy!

The people at the farm are truly unbelievable! I get teary and that homesick ache when I think of all them! Carol, the scarf goddess- nobody has better fashion sense than Carol-sorry MJ!!! The beautiful sweet genius Kate-by far THE most amazingly centered 23 year old I have ever met. Sweet Sunny whos name couldnt be more fitting! I miss our singing walks!Darling, funny Meg and her cute hubby and baby Stella. The phantom Gabe who would scare the crap out of me everytime I would sneak into the design studio to plug my cell phone in-I thought the room was empty! The beautiful and fun Rebekka and her adorable kiddos. And Brian who could do anything and was very patient with all my millions of questions about compost and growing things. And of course Maryjane and Nick! I couldn't be more indebted to two people. They have created such an oasis of beauty, peace, rest, love and friendship!
My farm experience was truly one of the highlights of my life!

I had some pretty hysterically funny moments too! What I refer to as my Blair Witch Project night!!! I went back to my tent in the dark and just got the heeby jeebys....I was soooo scared!!LOL! I heard every bump in the night!!!I was huddled on my bed with firebazing, lanterns lit and flashlight in hand just waiting for the Boogey man! Now it's funny!

Anyways, I miss you Julia and really wish I could have spent more time with you! You are soooo amazingly beautiful! but I'll be back!!!!! Thank you to all-Love and hugs!
