When an editor of Country Home Magazine called MaryJane to ask if she'd design an special apron for them, she hopped right on it. MaryJane's "Fruit Apron" will be featured in their May issue, but will go on sale on our website April 1, TOMORROW!

With a built-in hotpad that's also a pocket, this apron is adorable. And remember, when you buy one of MaryJane's aprons, you're also supporting the rural woman who stitched it through MaryJane's Project F.A.R.M. (First-class American Rural Made) countryside renewal endeavor.

Check out MJ's delightful Strawberry Apron at http://products.maryjanesfarm.org/pfoshop/product.asp?ProductID=61747043&dept%5Fid=260
And check back tomorrow to purchase Country Home's exclusive "fruity" design:

I got mine, Jennifer, but haven't had a second to look at it with family in town--and I totally forgot it was in there! Thanks for the reminder!!!

Sorry, ladies - hope you're not cussing me today because you bought Country Home & didn't find MJ's apron! It's not actually going to show up in the mag till May 1 (but you can get a jump on it & buy the apron on our website now).

Did you all read MJ's entry on the strawberry apron page: "Because of my checkered past (I first made and wore a gingham apron when I was 10 years old and have been “tying one on” ever since), I want to share my time-worn favorites that tell the world you’re a farmgirl and proud of it! Whether you’re a city chick or farm chick, my collection of adorable vintage-style aprons will bring you back to your farmgirl roots, back to homemade strawberry pie, next door with soup for your neighbor, downtown for an evening of crochet with friends, and uptown in a dress-up apron, or maybe even on a farm of your own." She's carries our sweetest dreams in her apron pocket, doesn't she?

Hey Rebekka - sounds like you need a "chocolate pocket" too! Wouldn't that be cute? I think I'm gonna go get a mid-afternoon nip of the dark stuff right now...see ya!

That apron is DIVINE, I just love the built in hot pad and a pocket to boot- the only problem is that I keep my chocolate in my apron pockets!!! I guess I would need to snack before baking time is over, easy enough;) I know from seeing other project FARM aprons how well made it must be- these are really works of art compared to aprons you see in stores.
Off to the newsstand in the morning for the magazine...I love seeing REAL people in them,
Rebekka
