...And all the fabulous farmgirls that live there! MaryJane, Lucas, Stella and myself had a marvelous time in Idaho City. It is the most adorable city with such wonderful history. I have been saying to everyone, 'did you know that...?'

Idaho City is straight out of an old western movie, except the farmgirls own the keys to the town. Literally. We stayed in the most adorable house, just a few blocks down Main Street (a dirt road), we ate the most delicious meals (our very own Rose makes a to-die-for apple pie), we listened to great music, we were treated to the grand historical tour AND we got to craft (and gossip) with so many farmgirls we've been calling friends for so long and we finally got to be with!

Really, if you all make it over to Idaho, you've got to visit Idaho City and the Idaho City Mountain farmgirls (it's seven hours from Moscow).

As I was pulling out of town I had that feeling in my throat like you do when you've just said good bye to a loved one but don't know when you'll get to see them again.

Thanks for taking such good care of us girls. We are so lucky and thankful to have you in our lives.

MaryJane's daughter,

Meg

Tess- I know it is so hard to believe isn't it! I get to see Stella a bit more often than you- but it always suprises me to see how big she grows between when I do and don't see her! Check out pictures of Nora down at the Farmkids section! You won't believe your eyes!

Amy, the only pictures so far are the ones that we took. They are posted on our website:
www.freewebs.com/mountainfarmgirls

We're hoping to see some of the ones MaryJane took. She has a much better eye than any of us.

I just loved the photos - it looks like you ALL had such an amazing time!!!

And Tracey -- it's really easy to start a Farmgirl Chapter - just go to http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Chapters/ and click on "Start a Chapter" to start one, or you can click on "Chapter Search" to see if one already exists close to you. Let me know if I can help!

XOXO, Libbie

You bet, Alee. We'll have to plan something and of course any other farmgirls that could make it would welcome as well!

Thanks for the great post, Meg. We sure are pleased that you all thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us. We thoroughly enjoyed having you.

And MaryJane: early morning is my favorite time of the day also. Great opportunity for inner reflection and productivity. I get a lot done at that time of day "before the world turns on".

Hi all, I think us Mountain Farmgirls would love to meet halfway. We are always up for road trips!
We got to see Mary Jane again last night at the Professional Women in Business Leadership conference in Boise. Eleven of us traveled down and talk about inspirational! All the speakers were outstanding, but Mary Jane was exceptional! All the way home (40 miles one way) all we did was talk about our future plans! The trip home just flew by.
We are so glad we got not only to meet Megan, the adorable Stella, Lukas and of course, Mary Jane, but that we got to spend some quality time with them. The two days just flew by but left us Mountain Farmgirls totally energized and full of future plans.
Thank you so much for coming here to meet us, what an honor!

Farmgirl love and blessings to all the other farmgirls in the world!
Rose

We are never alone in the forest of Sisters! We "Mountain Farmgirls" are outstanding in our field!

Oh Meg! It sounds like it was a wonderful time! Isn't it always a wrench to leave kindred spirits behind? Maybe we could plan some "halfway" meets where the Idaho City Farmgirls can drive halfway and meet us Moscow girls. What do you think ladies?

Meg,
Really looking forward to seeing the pictures. Sounds like you had a great time. I know that feeling you were talking about when you were leaving town. Funny how soon we can form attachments to others.
