Posted - Sep 15 2007 : 12:45:32 PM I came home today to find a box from the post office that my husband picked up. Inside is the most beautiful crocheted blanket in soft and cozy pastels. It is so cozy and the most charming item to me right now. It is perfect for snuggling in my recliner where I tend to spend time during the day and some at night. I was getting so tired of dragging the one knit blanket my MIL made me years ago back and forth up the stairs, too!!
Dear, MaryJane and Meg, how can I thank you for thinking of me and sending me such a lovely package? I had tears running out of my eyes and still do writing this. I know that as I go through the next challenge of my life, testing my strength and faith and character, that I can be surrounded with the love of you and all the farmgirls here on the board.
When I joined up as a farmgirl, I never expected to come to know and cherish so many amazing women. I have enjoyed sharing my time and talents with so many here. It has been such a great way to reach out, especially during the bad weather months. I look forward to continuing here and sharing friendship and good times with everyone.

Posted - Sep 16 2007 : 4:53:50 PM What a kind and loving thing for MaryJane and Meg to do. I am not surprised, from reading her book,so much of her kindess and goodness shows through. The posts that both of them put on here are always a treat to read. I know I haven't been on here long, but I have read these forums for a very long time. Long enough to know how much all of the farmgirls truly love and support each other. It is a beautiful thing.
