Janet, so sorry to hear the news about your grandmother. I so agree with Grace, I applaud you and those who are helping you take care of your grandmother. I am sure that you will cherish every moment that you have.
My grandmother has been gone for 3 years, I am so glad that I had the time I did with her.
Praying for you and her. Let us know when you can, HUGS.

Oh MaryJane, so sorry to hear of the change of events. Thank goodness for plans B,C & D if needed. I wish I had the skills needed to be part of plan B...
And Janet, My heart goes out to you, The love & committment you have for your Grandmother is awesome!
In todays self-centered hedonistic society, it is so heartwarming to see a person make a committment to another person be it friend or family, even at the cost of forgoing ones own dreams.
But please stay intouch with us, & keep us updated about your Grandmother.Farmgirl hugz & Blessings,

Janet, I am sure it is very busy for you and demanding in many ways, at your GrandMother, but do what your heart tells you to do. I am sending prayers for you and your Grannie. I did the same a very long time ago and was so happy in spending that special time with her, she is even closer to me because of that, even if she passed away many many years ago.

Oh my goodness. Change is in the air. When we hired Janet, she was still living in Virginia. Since then she moved back home to Kentucky to take care of her grandmother. Today she told us her grandmother's health is the most important thing to her right now. “At this time she needs 24 hour care and there are only 4 of us that are able to do this for her. I am sorry to say that because of my commitment to her, I will not be able to continue working for MaryJanesFarm. I hope that in the future we can work on some embroidery projects together.”
I know Sunny and Janet had talked about Janet turning our new Farmgirl Sisterhood logo into an embroidered patch (soon to be unveiled).
Sorry to disappoint you but we’ll regroup and come up with Plan B or C or D! Do stay tuned.

Hello Janet...is that a Dulcimer in your hands? I am guessing you play?
How fun! I am indeed jealous of that. My Chapter has had problems meeting lately...everyone went to work, except me. Well I work, but not a 9 to 5. Anyway, hope to get to know you and PLEASE come up and visit us in the Great Northwest!
