Posted - Dec 08 2006 : 11:11:53 AM Many happy, happy greetings to you all.. Our daughter, Rianna Celine was born Wednesday 12-06-06 at 4:34pm. She weighed in at 10 lbs 4 oz and is 22 inches long! I knew she was going to be big but I had no idea she was going to be a butterball! She is absolutely beautiful, robust and hearty! Full head of silky dark hair with light highlights on the ends, just like her sister when she was born. She has gorgeous long eyelashes too!! I had a completely enchanting, beautiful birth/delivery.. We went into the hospital around 11 30 am with contractions about 7 minutes apart. By 12 30 the contractions were every 2 minutes and i.n.t.e.n.s.e!! My doctor ruptured my membranes, which really helped move things along and about 4 hours later she was in my arms..absolutely no complications! She's nursing like a champ too! Reo and Aria are doing so well and the day Rianna was born my husband was able to head home in time to tuck them in bed and read stories. They called us and sang happy birthday to Rianna..it was just the sweetest thing. We are home now taking it easy.. Doc has the rest of the month off to be with us as we all adjust and enjoy this new little (big) person! We will be decorating for the holidays today and just hanging out.. Thank you for all the wonderful warm wishes.. I just couldn't have dreamed up a more beautiful birthing experience! I'm so grateful for it since this is our last..What a miraculous thing.. I'm euphoric if you hadn't already noticed! All my love, Julia Hayes

Posted - Dec 19 2006 : 3:14:25 PM julia...I have been thinking of you and your babes...drop a line when you can... Is Rianna nursing well? What about Aria and Reo? Are they getting 'used' to the new family dynamics?
I hope all is well in your world. Love and light to you Kate

Posted - Dec 08 2006 : 2:02:04 PM Congratulations!!! to you entire family. There is something about a sleeping baby and the way their eyelashes lay on their cheeks that just gets to me. And I agree, she probably does have wonderful little cheeks just right for all the kisses I'm sure they are receiving. Blessings to you and yours. peapodjane |
