Posted - Aug 04 2013 : 6:40:27 PM So I've been teaching my son sign language since we came home. I found "signing Time" and "Baby Signing Time" videos at the library and fell in love with them. My son has his favorites and has learned a lot of signs, a good thing since he isn't speaking yet but is a very demanding toddler. The makers of these videos are branching into preschool videos, but TV said it was too educational. Go figure. So I wanted to share because I think having these options is great and I am looking forward to them.

Posted - Aug 08 2013 : 3:07:54 PM You GO, Laurie! I think you're amazing - what a wonderful thing to teach your son! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
As far as the "too educational for TV" comment - shocker, eh? I'm happy to support something as wonderful as this! If only TV WERE educational! If anything, most - but not all - of it is dumbed down. Such a shame!
Keep up the good stuff!
