We never intended to have rainy day projects on hand, but the homemade root beer kit I bought turned out to be a lot of fun. It's on my "pioneer woman at heart" blog today.  Just sharing for families looking for some summer fun on a budget.

Oh! Kristina! We gave one of those kits to our son for Christmas (root beer is his favorite) but we haven't even opened the box yet! I'm so glad you reminded me! I'm going to have to check out your blog to read about it! Awesome! Hugs - Nini
