I was wondering if anyone out there in farmgirl land has a son or grandson age 5 or 7 who would be interested in having a pen pal. Especially for my 7 year old. I am trying to get him interested in writing and he doesn't seem to like writing assignments. He has a hard time coming up with what to say, but I think if he had a person he was writing to it might help him out.

Wow, they could end up being best friends. Keep us posted on this endeavor please. You might have started something. :)

April, that would be wonderful! My son is just learning cursive and this would be good practice for him to write and read it. Message me your address and I will have my son send the first letter :)
Thank you so much for being willing to help me out!!!

Hello. I am new to this site. I am interested in finding a pen pal/mail art friend for myself and my eight year old son. He is a little bit older than you were looking for. He turned eight in August. He is in the third grade, and he does write in cursive. Let me know what you think? : )

I can't believe there isn't anyone with a son or grandson on here!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
