What do you do with your babies hair? For girls do you cut bangs or do a side part and why?

For boys, how long do you let their hair grow before cutting it, if you even cut it?

I'm determining if I should cut my 14 month old daughter bangs or not. Right now she has a side part but has a pretty big forehead. My older daughter is growing out her bangs but has a smaller forehead. Just wondering what other women do with their kids hair!

so far no cutting. BUT, bubba is nearly 18 months, and people keep thinking he is a girl. (all my kids were born with a LOT of hair ALL over! lol). I love his little curls and I'm gonna cry. To be quite honest it's only for religious reasons that we will be cutting. In our religion boys must have short hair. But, if that wasn't part of our religion, I'm dont know when or if I would ever cut it. I love his cute baby hair!

Violet's hair was very slow to start growing, then all of a sudden, about 16 mos, she had lovely hair. I simply trimmed it up then--in the bathtub with my little scissors on her bangs, and especially the back, which seemed to grow faster than the rest. I like a little "bob" or just a soft natural lay of hair.

I don't think Violet will ever have long hair unless she begs for it--she looks so perfect and pixie like with her little 1920's era bob (with bangs). Suits her to a T.
