Posted - Aug 21 2012 : 05:58:41 AM Wow. Nora is all ready for Kindergarten- registered and school supplies bought. We had to spend over $100 for school supplies! And 90% of it goes to the class general area. Grr. I am not so much a fan of that.
But I think Nora is excited and I hope she has a great day. I will take some pictures tomorrow and get them posted! :)

Posted - Sep 12 2012 : 2:25:44 PM Austism moms have to brag when they can so guess what? Owen has the highest reading skills his teacher has ever had in Special Ed, and they had to order a new set of books for his clasroom. :)
Tomorrow is the first day on the short bus. I have been driving him so far. He has been asking his teacher to ride the bus, and has been picking bus books and toys.
Only four other kids ride the bus. We followed it home both yesterday and today. Both days, I lost the short bus. That old lady drives like a bat outta h. I can't say I blame her! lol.

Posted - Aug 21 2012 : 11:04:24 AM It is amazing how fast they grow. It was just yesterday I swear that Nora was at my house and in diapers.
The next 12 years goes by so fast, enjoy.
Have fun at school tomorrow!!!!!
P. S. I too thought it was silly that all the supplies needed to be pulled into a general pile. I would however buy extra's for my kids to take to school during the year. Sale prices at this time of year are usually the cheapest (crayons, markers and many boxes of tissue).

Posted - Aug 21 2012 : 10:10:47 AM Lela begins this year too. We have done some already via Sam's Club K-1 work books. But, we're waiting on the cirr and pc to come in the mail. Supposed to arrive this week. We went ahead and started last week just to get into routine though. I am super excited to get the cirr though and get down to business of kindergarten! lol

Posted - Aug 21 2012 : 08:45:59 AM Owen had his first kindergarten intro day yesterday. He kept all of his clothes on, so I let him have the playhouse I have been working on.

Posted - Aug 21 2012 : 06:54:36 AM Oh my!!! I can't believe how the time has flown, Alee. I bet you'll have some tears in your eyes--I know I sure would. They just grow too darn fast, but I know Nora will love school and all the adventures and fun that comes with it.
Good luck, Mama! I know tomorrow will be a little bit rough!
