He turned 12 on Friday. I can hardly believe it. It won't be long before he's off to college!

I was able to leave work early on Friday to do some last minute shopping. I pick up my husband and we sped around town like idiots trying to get a cake, a big balloon and a couple of other small gifties for him since all he asked for was a set of headphones (holding in picture) and a game. When we got back home, we hid everything in the boat in the garage. Then I had DH take Lliam out the front door while I went out the back to the garage to bring everything in, using the excuse I had to go the the bathroom before we left. At dinner, we had him so convinced that we forgot to get him presents, when he received a phone call from his former Kindergarten teacher, he told her we forgot to get anything. DH and I were busting at the seams trying not to laugh! On the way home we kept asking if there was anything he wanted to do. He said he just wanted to go home. The look on his face when he walked in the kitchen was priceless! There on the table was a giant balloon, a cake and a few presents. He gave us a big hug and ripped into the presents! It was too funny.

A good surprise! Marlee

God is the painter, he paints the picture. And his son builds it, for he is the Master Carpenter!

Happy Belated Birthday to Lliam! He's quite a handsome young man & I hope he enjoyed all the festivities! It's always so much fun to do those special birthday errands for our kids, isn't it??
