I love our county's 4H program and utilize it to the fullest extent I can. It's almost our whole homeschooling training.

We have a Vet. Science program that results in a Vet. Tech. Certificate. The same certificate can be achieved through the local college with a 2 year degree. Our program uses the same textbook Texas A&M uses. In fact, the chapter work and tests are sent to A&M and the kids' records are kept up to date. After all the assignments are finished and volunteer hours accumulated, then a veterinary technician certificate is issued. This is the same certificate as the college issues and the student can be hired by a vet.

All it costs is the cost of the book....$40. Our county paid half of that cost.

It has been so worthwhile for both my daughters.

Check into it!

Blessings,
Catherine

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

Wow, that is GREAT. I was enrolled in the 2 year program through Cedar Valley College in Dallas. It wasn't cheap!!!

That sounds incredible! I'll have to check that out. Amazing.

I wonder if there is something like that in Pa...calling Ext. office tomorrow!

In friendship,
Rejena
