After 42 years of raising children, my last one is moving on. Grandson has lived with us since his Mother remarried and moved to NC 6 years ago. Before that, they both lived with us! He will be living with his mother and step father, getting a GED and starting college. So Hubby and I get to be alone finally. Sure hope he likes me still, will be very different to not get up and send a kid to school, etc. We've never had a child free home. might just be fun, if we can find something other than the kids to talk about.

Congratulations!!! I can't wait for the day I'm an empty nester. I've been raising kids for 40 years and I'm ready to be kid free - although you never are entirely.
