Posted - Jan 04 2009 : 09:33:05 AM Nora is playing with expressions these days. Everytime she sees something new, she opens her eyes up really wide and raises her eyebrows so she looks surprised. It is so cute! She will even mimic me if I do it so I am hoping to get a picture soon!
The other day I caught her practicing surprise then frown then surprise then frown. It was so funny!

Posted - Jan 07 2009 : 10:51:27 PM We have a 15 month old, Emma, who is really into an old quilting bee quilt we have with large flowers on it. We put it on the floor and practice stepping from flower to flower (it's an old quilt with holes in it.) This week she decided she can jump. She bends her knees and elbows and pushes up with her legs - but doesn't go anywhere - and then claps for herself because she is so proud of her "jump." When she wants to try to jump really hard she has to make her eyebrows go up too. It makes me laugh and laugh. I can't imagine what will happen when her little feet ever leave the ground!
To plant a thing and watch it grow... that is to nurture a miracle. |
