Nora, Doug and I continued on a beloved family tradition. I used to love going trick or treating as a kid. So much so that I kept up the tradition long after I probably should have stopped. My scant 5 ft height helps me pose as a much younger person! LOL

Anyway, we took Nora around the block tonight in her homemade lion costume. It as so cute! And she had so much fun! She was pulling us from house to house, roaring and saying thank you like a good girl. Her roar made one elderly lady almost fall over laughing so hard. It was lots of fun. Not many houses had their lights on, but it was a good little stroll and it gave Nora a little stash of candy to dole out slowly over the coming weeks.

Isn't it weird how the times have changed...we didn't have that many trick or treaters either. B/C of safety concerns, our community holds "Treats on the Square"...each business decorates a booth, and you walk around to each one. As a parent, I love the TOTS, but my inner child wants to break something!

Yes! I vote for pictures!! You can't tease us like that Alee - describing her in her costume, then no pictures!

It is so much fun to take your little one out trick or treating for the first time. Glad to hear you had such a delightful experience with Nora.

Glad Nora, Doug and you had fun. We didn't get to many trick-or-treaters last night but the ones that came by got a haul.
