his full name is Lloyd Oliver Zachariah...but we will call him Oliver everyday.
We just got home today and all is well...he is sooooooo cute and we are so blessed to have himI

Gosh, I was on holidays for a week, and so much has happened around the forum!

Congratulations, Melanie, and I'm so happy that things have worked out for you and your husband. You've had a lot of people praying for you...!

Enjoy that baby boy, because everyone tells you they grow up so fast, and you don't realize it until you drop off your son at university like I did yesterday!

I remember the dried up cord, part, too! They are much cuddlier after that's gone! I was always afraid of the diaper rubbing on it!

Take care, and thanks for the updates!

Melanie.......Soooo happy for you! I think every Mom is nervous about that first bath but I never have heard of a baby actually being dropped. Besides, you and Oliver did make it through just fine!

I am heading off on vacation for a few weeks but as soon as I get back I will get a little something in the mail for the new Mom...I owe you! I really couldn't be happier for you! Cindy

Oh! Congratualtions Melanie!!!! I am sooo happy for you and little Oliver! Many blessings and much love to you both ~~~ Tracy

PS~~ I have THREE boys, and they can be quite a handful! So enjoy him now while he's little, soon enough you'll have to get used to bugs and dirt and LOTS OF NOISE!!!!! (not to mention the SMELL when he becomes a teenager! LOL!!!)

Melanie- You are doing great! Nora was slippery when she was little, but she loved her baths so much too! They are so great! Your son is so lucky to have such a wonderful mother!

my life sure is different...in a super duper kind of way. Today Oliver's little dried up cord fell off. Kinda gross eh? I bathed him for the first time by myself (had friends there with me before) I was nervous, but he loved it!! I am looking forward to every new day with him. What a blessing he is:)

he is sleeping almost too well. hubby and I wake up at night and go into his room just to check him. Hubby said that one night, he poked Oliver because he didn't look like he was breathing. I am so happy that hubby is helping in Olivers little life. we are farmers and right now hubby is crazy busy, but he is making time to be with him/us which is sooooo good:)
