Does expectant grandma's count . we'er due to have our 5th grandbaby around Thanksgiving time. A little girl. Got the craddle downstairs in the living room, knitting a new baby blanket and I hope to make a baby sweater and booties too. Never knitted a sweater before.

Congrats to all the new mom's and grandma's , can't wait to see pictures.

I've already been there (to Etsy), Toni! You're right! I got so overwhelmed by all the cute, I just stopped looking :) I did see some nice crib sets, though, because I'm not finding that through regular outlets for shopping. I still feel really wonderful--took my first pre-natal exercise class last night at the hospital, and it was just what I needed to get my booty moving. And for $10, how could I not? That combined with walking my fat labradour should make a nice combination once the weather starts cooling off. Hoping not to gain much weight!

Thanks for the congratulations, Ladies! I am due January 8th with our second. I am having a hard time coming up with names this time around. So far, I have come up with Carson for a girl, middle name being Lorraine or Kathleen after DH or my grandmother, or Max for a boy. But, those are likely to change, so any fun names you come up with, just let me know! My son is named Wyatt Matthew.

Hi Jonni! Whatever you do, do not start looking at the baby stuff on Etsy, it is just too cute and time consuming! I had some time to kill the other night and started looking on there for ideas of things to make for this baby, and wowza, there are alot of talented people out there. There are several thousand pages of children's items! Still feeling well?

How very sweet, Annika, and Tammy..and I have to say, I really appreciate this thread today. Things have been tough at home and I've forgotten my blessings...

The names we've picked out are for boy: Leo Aloysius Lynch and girl: Violet Grace Lynch. Leo because we were married in August and my husband is a Leo, and a 4th generation Aloysius. Violet because it's my favorite flower (ok..a tie with Zinnias, but I didn't think Zinnia Lynch was too pretty :))...

So far, I've purchased a vintage 3 drawer dresser with a bookcase on top (with a coat of paint it will be perfect!), an antique doll highchair and an old slate chalkboard to hang. So far nothing else for the baby per se...kindof overwhelming all the choices!!!
