They're 10 & 7. I have to pry the book from them so I can read it.

Last weekend we were camping and my 7 yo had the book by the campfire. She was sitting, flipping through the pages and replied "That Maryjane, she sure catches a lot of fish!"

Not to be outdone, she headed down to the pier and caught about 20 bluegill. (She's a catch & release kind of girl when it comes to bluegill.)

MaryJane should be a role model for more of the kids. I'm happy to hear that your young daughters were enjoying the magazine. Everything about that magazine is awesome. I read it ever so slowly because I don't want to rush. I want the magazine to last until the next one comes in.

Deb- That is awesome! Isn't it great to have someone like MaryJane as a role model for our kids?

Too cute, Deb! My girls love the book, too, but mostly they like finding all the pictures they're in (sigh...)
I think I would've loved it as a kid too (for the same reason I love it as a grown-up). So many varied, vivid images - fun to look at for hours!

20 bluegill, huh?! I'll have to challenge my girls to beat that!
