You know you have kids when, as the house falls quiet in the middle of they day you think "Uh Oh! What is she (he/they) getting into?!"

Yes to both - quiet kids and dogs are generally up to no good. Our basset hound recently ate some red-dyed bucktail that she stole from my husband's fly-tying room. She was quiet for a good hour, but now her paws are dyed bright red and there are bright red patches all over the yard. My son is 15 now so if he is quiet he is sleeping or reading - when he was little though, boy we had some messes

Or dogs, Alee! When it was quiet, my old husky, Lily was ALWAYS tearing something (valuable) up :)

Farmgirl Sister #80, thanks to a very special farmgirl from the Bluegrass..."She was built like a watch, a study in balance ... with a neck and head so refined, like a drawing by DaVinci"...
