Posted - Jul 05 2008 : 06:25:04 AM We put Nora to bed and she only slept for about 2 hours before the neighbor hood fire crackers woke her up. It was right before the big show was supposed to start so we hurried up and found a spot.
Nora loved them. She kept pointing to the sky and saying "Look! BOOM!" It was so cute to see her little face lit up in the glow of The 4th of July!
How did your kiddos do with the fireworks? Did they have lots of fun?

Posted - Jul 07 2008 : 08:28:33 AM Talk about "precious moments" I had 40 (ish) 17, 18, 19, 20 year olds on my roof (it has become a tradition started by my 21 year old), this year with him being gone the group was much smaller.............then normal.... But even tho they arent so little anymore, it is fun to sit out on the patio and listen to them all. I did tell them that I would miss them when they didnt come and do this every year.. and of course one of the kids chimmed up.. "are you kidding, we plan on bringing our kids someday"... guess I better invest in a stronger roof!!!

Posted - Jul 05 2008 : 06:37:54 AM Charlie loved them..he was naming the colors as they exploded in the sky. He kept saying "Happy Birthday Daddy..." since it was also my hubby's birthday yesterday. We actually just had to walk out in our front yard to watch. It was fantastic.
