My daughters are 4 and 6 and they enjoy taking communion at our church. My youngest daughter in particular is very religious and loves learning about anything to do with the church, Jesus and God.

So... we're standing in the communion line Sunday and they're nervous because they think everyone is looking at them. My oldest daughter, Shelby, goes first and does beautifully. Then it's Maggie's turn. She dunks not only the piece of bread into the grape juice but also her whole hand. I then LUNGE at her trying to save the church carpet and her dress... she realizes she's made a boo-boo (because I lunged and because the pastor is laughing his head off!) and flings the bread out of the cup and into her mouth much to the detriment of the carpet, her dress and my shirt.

Poor baby was so embarrassed that when we got back to our seat she climbed on my lap and buried her head in my shoulder until the service was over.
