Are little apartment will have 3 bedrooms, so I would like to give Charlie some space for creativity (our "office" will be in there too, so I can be there with him). I am looking for some creative ideas with salvaged items or inexpensive in cost.

So far:
1) Tent- I am going to buy a fun twin sheet, hang dowels from string from the ceiling and string the sheet through.
2) I have some cool baskets to organize his toys
3) Constructing a felt board out of a large cork board covered with the felt. Cutting out shapes in felt like letters, shapes, animals, fruit

Things I have to work with:
sleeping mat that could be used for tumbling or to sleep in his tent and I have some of those large alphabet foam floor blocks.

Things I am looking for:
low table for him to draw/play at and on w/ 2 chairs
toddler dress up clothes for a boy w/ a peg rack to hang the clothes on

Any ideas?? (Keep in mind, it is an apartment, so no major renovations) Thanks!!!

Cheers,
Heather

This is what my grandkids play with all the time(boys and girls)a playhouse, dress up clothes and long scraps of material for costumes and tents, Dr. Set, construction set, play money, construction paper and cards (I buy valentines when they are 90% off), small old suitcases, old computer keyboards, old telephones, cars, blocks, books and encyclopedias. Large boxes for him to paint and pretend with. They can be a race car, a fire engine, a house, a barn, a boat...........

Don't forget the usefulness of chalkboard paint! There are unlimited possibilities there.
