Nora took her first steps tonight! Three steps. One and then she just stood for a minute while I hollered for Doug to come running because she was walking, another while he was coming, and then another just so her daddy could she her first steps as well! Oh my gosh! I can hardly believe it!!

She is such a big girl! Oh my word! She is walking and trying to learn how to run! If she takes her time, she can walk across our big living room all by herself, but often times she tries to hurry and ends up stumbling. Then she does this really cute thing where she is touching the ground with both her hands and feet with her head looking back between her legs, like she is trying to figure out why her feet tripped her up! LOL

Alee,
Duct tape a sponge to her fore head, so she doesn't bang it up on furniture etc. LOL
I am just teasing. If she is anything like my daughter, she ought to be by-passing the walking thing and running by tonight.

She took some more independent steps today!! Oh my gosh! And then she walked a step or two to me a couple of times. Doug said she walked a bit while I was getting cleaned up! She is going to be running before long! I can't hardly believe it!

Amanda- You crack me up. As long as she is chasing Sky around, I think I will survive. LOL But once she learns how to open the door- I am done. That child loves the out doors!

Congratulations, Nora! My husband and I were talking last night about how amazing it is that it takes so little time for them to go from a couple of wobbly steps to full-on marathon runner. Have fun, Alee! They are so cute when they toddle around all drunken-sailorish! |
