It's on my mind today because I just started writing little songs for them that appear in the back of the magazine. I've been writing poems for them for years, but this is a new twist. It's tough to come up with nature rhymes that match familiar song tunes, but it's really silly fun.
Check out the magazine's website at: http://www.nwf.org/yourbigbackyard/kzPage.cfm?siteId=2&CFID=21038238&CFTOKEN=6f2d8996219fad29-F0FF03FE-15C5-5FE8-B083ECCEFF76F302

Posted - Feb 12 2008 : 08:45:43 AM We get it too. It's a great gift to give. We always struggle with where to put the truck load of toys that the kids recieve for Christmas and birthdays. The magazine is a welcome change. And my son LOVES getting somthing in the mail.

Posted - Feb 11 2008 : 08:41:44 AM I recommend this for your own kids, or as gifts for nieces or nephews, etc.
I used to order this for my stepson when he was little, and years later, for our grandson. I always thought it was a neat magazine for kids, and especially nice for a kid to get "his own" mail occasionally, too.
Jen, it's nice to know you are involved in such a neat magazine.
