I am trilled to say that after awhile of prodding and coaxing that didn't work Zoe has decided on her own to use her potty! She had peed in it once a few months ago but since hadn't been interested. Now when we are at home, I keep her bottom half nekkid and she goes in-WITHOUT TELLING ME!!!-and does her thing! I am so pleased and she is so proud of herself!

YAY!

Then Rob had to go and say, "Just when we get one out of dipes, we are having another-eh well, that's the way it goes I guess."
Yep. it is!

YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!

Great! My daughter started going to the potty on her second birthday but until her third birthday in June she went back and forth from using the potty to not. She is NOW officially trained and goes by herself without asking. She makes it through naps She can even wake herself up at night to go sometimes. We did the almost bare bottom thing...I put her in a dress or tee shirt with panties for a while so it would make it easier for her.

Congrats! My son is 31/2 and still doesn't want to poop in the potty, but does well with peeing. My daughter was just 3 when she was trained. I guess we are a little slow! Good for you, no more diapers for a while.
Take care,
Cheryl

I am so happy for her. She learned a lot slower than Grace did though, which puzzles me, but still she isn't even two yet, so that's great. Grace was interested and trained by about 18-19 months. So I guess Zoe is only a little behind in that.

My daughter trained both her girls by letting them run about with a bare bottom or close to it, might have an accident or two to clean up but they got the idea real quick because they didn't like the feeling of it running down their legs.If they have a pull up on, its no differnt then a diaper.

Congrats! I am really hoping that Nora graduates to the potty "naturally" aka quickly! :)

Congratulations! Even if this is a brief break from diapers until the next baby comes along, you'll enjoy it! I trained my youngest son last year. It took a lot of work & my attending a potty training class at our grade school, but the end result (no punt intended) was worth all the trouble. Hugs & kisses to Zoe!!!

That's great! Also great to know there is still hope for us with Tate. We have never been able to get him to go on the potty.
