I don't know how she does it- but I lose time every time I hold her! LOL I look up and an hour has gone by! She has me completely enthralled!

Tamara- Oh grandkids that are close together sounds like so much fun! Some of my nieces and nephews are pretty close in age and they all play together. It is great to be at my parent's house and see all the cousins playing. I feel a little bad because Nora will be able to play with her cousin who is _exactly_ one year older than her- but any other kids that I might have won't have a cousin that is close in age. :( I guess I will just have to have kids close together so they have each other to play with! LOL

My kids our now 27, 26, 23, 22 and 17. The first two are 15 months apart. I was told I was unable to have anymore kids. 5 years later number 3 - 15 months later number 4. Then I had a tubal and guess what 5 years later number 5... Apparently God had other plans than the doctors or I. I can tell you that we have loved every moment of it. The house was always filled with there friends. To this day I have several "adopted" kids that still keep in touch. My first two are a boy and girl. They are very close to each other. The second two are girls and they are best friends. The 23 year old had her first child last Oct and the 22 year old is due with her first in Aug. I am doing the happy dance because I get grandkids close together...

My sister and I are about 3 years apart. We had some fantastic blow up growing up and didn't get along a good portion of the time. Now we get along really well and I love chatting with her!

I know what you mean Mandi! I have been trying to decide when I want to try for the next one. Do I want them really close in age so they can be friends and play well together or space them further apart so I can have a bit of sanity in the house and get to cuddle each one a bit more but risk them having a volitile relationship as they get older? Decisions decisions... :)

Not to worry it's just one more thing to add to mommy guilt! LOL! You love them all the same yet different. I do understand the attachment parenting theory of baby spacing better now. I wish we had waited awhile before having #2 (only a 21 month difference), but SURPRISE! I think 3 years is perfect. That's the difference b/t #2 and #3. Although #1 and #2 do enjoy playing together. Was that confusing? More coffee...

Mandi- I can totally see what you mean- that makes me a little sad for the future kiddos and me but I know that each baby has their own special moments. Each moment in time only ever happens once- right?

When Riley was a baby I practically got all my sleep sitting in a rocking chair nursing him. It's so cozy soft for both of you. As two and three came about alot less time was spent doing this since I was usually breast feeding while reading a book, or drawing, or painting, or cooking, or getting someone else a drink, or, or, or..... Enjoy it! You enjoy and love all your kids, but you have so much more cozy time with number one. I guess I should say I did at least.

That is so funny that you mentioned that because I just woke up from napping with Nora! She nursed herself to sleep and I quickly followed! LOL And Sky took a nap with us as well! Just one big happy sleepy pile on the couch! LOL :)
