Posted - Feb 08 2015 : 2:01:52 PM Hello Farm Sisters!
I make Kitchen Witches & Money Witches :). Perfect for the most important room of a happy home, the KITCHEN! http://www.etsy.com/shop/goddessinthegroove
The Kitchen Witch is the good witch, making the kitchen a warm, cozy, and comfortable place to be in. She performs wonderful magic that tricks the bad witch, who is full of mischief . Therefore, the bad witch looses her power to mess with and ruin your cooking. According to legend, cakes, breads, and other pastries will rise according to recipes. Milk will not sour or spoil. Cooking pots won't boil over. Toast, potatoes, and rice won't burn. Spices you mix will be perfect, as well as the tea and coffee you serve. Since the kitchen is the "heart" of the home, she will keep ill wishes from your entire home.
Warmly, Heike

Posted - Feb 09 2015 : 09:52:57 AM Thank you, Nature Maiden! I see we have some things in common :). I have a lovely old sewing machine in my attice, brought it with me from Germany. I was just up there looking at it the other day, thinking I should bring it down and see if still works. I learned to sew on an old (not antique, but around 1960 old) Singer, and miss that machine! Last year, I was gifted a vintage Kenmoore, and I fixed it up. Sews like a dream :).
