I was lost too. . . so no worries! Here is my explanation of the event. A BNR, on Etsy this is getting to be popular as a means of selling in a very fun way! BNR stands for "Buy and Replace". At first it seems a little confusing, however, once your there and following along it quickly makes sense. First, all items in the featured shops are for sale, not just the item pictured. Next, anyone may participate in the BNR. If you are an Etsy Shop Owner, you will notice in the chat that is going, you do what is called a shout out of which shop your going to buy from. . . then you wait for the Curator of the BNR to give you permission to buy. Once permission is granted, you make your purchase and then come back and post the transaction link and how much the purchase is for. ( there is always a minimum purchase listed for a BNR, so be sure you read the rules before playing!) If your purchase was for the minimum or more, your shop now replaces the one you purchased from . . . now your shop is a featured shop for others to buy from!
It is so much fun and it does require you to be patient as you wait your turn to buy when it is super busy! It is so worth doing. Not only do you end up with sales, you meet some amazing people who stop by for a visit to support the BNR, others who make a purchase and so on! True Farmgirl Fun!!
You can read about our success and when the next BNR for the SFGCTeam will be at: www.sunshinefarmgirlcoop.com/blog.html
Be sure to sign up for the newsletter and check out the website while your there!

Posted - Aug 21 2011 : 07:46:40 AM Thank you Marsha and all the team for all your support. To let everyone know we are out there and where we are is what makes it all worth while. I found a lot of nice gifts for myself and others at a few of my teams sites, so I am happy. Looking forward to next month, I have been sewing all weekend. Hopefully I will be better organzied. Thanks again Team. Farmgirl Hugs, Debbie

Posted - Aug 20 2011 : 11:29:53 AM It went very well. I will be able to participate more next time around. Forgot about the Internet switch over and all the down- so our Internet was not up and running for most of the day. :-(
