I make oldtime clothing at the Ozark Folk Center. I just made a lot of old time button sunhats with nice large brims. They are made of 100% cotton fabric. The brim is interfaced with lightweight Peltex 71. Hats are washable and great for the garden. I also have old time aprons---we wear these at the Folk Center. If you need an old time bonnet, I make them as well. Although I sell most of my clothing at the Folk Center, I am also happy to send them to you. Check out my website, as well as the Ozark Folk Center website.

Here, at last, is a picture of the old time button hat that I make. It is made of 100% cotton fabric that has been pre-shrunk so you can machine wash & dry. The large brim is stiffened with Peltex 71 so it holds its shape and is lightweight. Size is adjustable by moving 2 buttons in the back. The hat is $25 plus $3 shipping. Go to my website for ordering information.

Oh yes, I make bonnets in infants through girls sizes. I sell them in my shop at the Folk Center for 12 dollars, but didn't post them on my website yet. I guess I spend more time sewing than on the computer. I have them if anyone wants them. They are regular bonnets not the hats. I also have them in ladies size same price. Just finished 20 ladies bonnets in a variety of cotton prints.

Adorable. Hats are so hard to find. You should make some for little girls too if you don't now. I am making some for my granddaughters and grandson (baby). You cannot find girl bonnets anywhere!
