I am more than shocked at how high the price of emu oil has jumped since the last time I bought - it was pricey before but now it is more than double!! I guess I will be buying only a pound but I am looking for about that much. I also have wanted to try ostrich oil in my soaps and lotions, as it is reputed to be nearly identical to emu in its properties. Many of the soap supply companies that carried it a couple years ago no longer carry it, or they have gone out of business. Any info you can throw my way would be greatly appreciated!! Emu oil has been an integral part of a pain cream I make and I do not want to run out completely.
