Hey Sunshine Farmgirls,

I was thinking of a big idea to promote our co-op this fall. There are a lot of ideas I read on the pr website that other companies are doing to promote their work and it gave me a great idea for us to get noticed.

I wanted to give away a gift basket of goodies from all the shops in the co-op in a nationwide drawing on December 1, 2010. That gives us four months to promote the contest on the pr website and to use the vflyer website.
I thought if we could have the value be around $100- 200.00 then that would attract people and make them interested in checking us out. Give me your input on what we could put all the goodies in. I was thinking a Longeberger basket that could be donated by a fellow farmgirl. Since those are so popular. If you have a better suggestion let me know.
I'll need all the goodies by November 1st at the latest. I will do the drawing on December 1st and have it mailed out before the 30th.

I am also going to put an ad in my local paper and try to get a spot on a radio program that does freebies for good causes.
I want all the goodies to be sustainable "going green" products so that we can promote helping people during this tough economy.
So what do you say Farmgirls? Do I have your support in this????
If you want to join the co-op just give me a holler in an email. I'd love all the support from farmgirls that I can get with this.

Do you believe in the power of a clothesline, an apron, and your own ingenuity and creativity? Do you garden, farm, wild forage, tend animals, or simply dream of doing so?

Are you crafty? Do you sew, knit, sculpt, paint, recycle garbage into useful items? Do you believe in Sisterhood and having a community with common dreams and goals for sustainable living?

Are you the type of gal who believes in doing what you can for others, be it welcoming a new neighbor with a plate full of homemade oatmeal cookies or stopping by an elderly friend's home with a basket full of your fresh garden veggies?

If you said yes to any of these things, then you belong in our Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op.

Our local Farmgirl Chapter, (Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op), is looking for new members.

You can be one of us! We are hosting a Nationwide Contest for one special family that fits the above example. If you have done something for a person in need then fill out a 500 word letter telling us about it and send in pictures of the family you helped. Have it verified by your local "Chamber of Commerce" and notirized and send it this email address:marjeanfarmgirl@gmail.com
