Grace, I laughed so hard when I read your post!!!Such a VISUAL you painted for me!!! I'm still so laughing....I tried to read it to my daughter and I was laughing so hard I had to read it 4 times because she couldn't understand me!!! I am SO happy that Cindy has been found!!! It was such a fluke that I even made the connection!! I love happy endings and you are very welcome!!! I absolutely love your sites!! And when you talk about sheering sheep, it brings back such happy childhood memories for me. My dad worked a sales job during the week and on weekends he sheered sheep for lots of farmers in Nebraska and Iowa. My brother and I would get to go with him and our job was to gather the wool and bag it. My dad was quick, efficient and very rarely knicked the sheep, but once in a while the sheep would move and dad would get out his curved needle to stitch right then and there. I remember how funny the sheep looked after they were sheered. Thank you for the happy memories!!! Hugs and Smiles, Lin

Hi Lin - MANY thanks for sending me the information. I guess I need to get new glasses because I swear there was no "e" in her last name.

I did not walk but ran to send an email to her letting her know of my screw up and her winning.... I am doing the happy dance being very careful not to bump into anything as I am sure these old eyes need some work.

Again, many thanks for letting me know - you are an angel

Grace, her name is Cindy Gonyer #1273. I'm her swap partner, and we've been in contact, so I wonder if you had the spelling incorrect on her last name. Hope this helps. Thanks Lin

Hi Grace!

I just saw your note asking for the honey ice cream recipe - sorry it took so long!

You might want to cut the recipe down a bit - we make 5 gallons at a time, but here goes:

2 gallons plus 1 quart of whole milk
5 cans of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup vanilla (more or less to suit your taste)
5 pounds of honey

We make our ice cream using a 5 gallon ice cream freezer in a wooden tub churned by a 101 year old hit & miss gasoline engine!

Enjoy!

Luanne

I am a bit concerned - I still have not heard from the winner.

Cindy Jean Gonyr - she states she is FarmGirl 1273 but I can not find her on our members list. Please Contact me if you are her or know her.... If I do not hear back by Sunday I will have to pick another name and I sure do not want her to miss out..

Thanks

Hi! What a neat, neat giveaway! I wish it isn't too late, but I may have missed the boat, as it is Sunday. Tried to post on your blog, but had the same problem as the other girls above. If it isn't too late, please add me to your draw! My favorite Hot Day treat is a new one I found, bit indulgent but I wait until it is on sale at ShopRite...Green tea ice cream! Yummy! Have a great weekend, very nice yarn!

Lynn - you take your ice cream like a good farmgirl - Doctor's Orders.

I know what you mean sometimes there is nothing better then a good vanilla ice cream. The simple taste is magic and is one I do enjoy...

Today is the last day so good luck to everyone...

Thanks, Grace! This is a great idea. As much as I LOVE ice cream with bits of heavenly goodness in it, today is a plain vanilla day. Babying a very sore throat & ice cream puts the "fire" out better than anything else. The good news...I've been eating ice cream throughout the day, for lunch, dinner & even dessert! hehehe

Dearest Angela and Zen

I will make sure your names are added to the giveaway - sometimes the system acts up and I am not sure why - they can not explain it either. I do not want you to miss out because of a silly computer hiccup...

Today I am working out in the heat and I might just have to sit in the frezzer when I am done. Better eat the last of the chocolate ice cream so there is room in the freezer for me.

Grace, I couldn't post either probably because I dont have a google acct. But I must say your yarn looks yummy like a hot fudge sundae, I like mine with Pecans and carmel, mixed with the chocolate, yummy & always "sounds like more" !
