I just posted to the mag. thread but I thought this should be here too. With alot of us on Etsy and alot of us wanting to do the farmgirl USA site, thats coming, I am sure that more than me have questions about the legal side of things. I am wondering if we should find a mentor or someone we can trust to help us all through this part of being a "creative farmgirl". I just posted an item to Etsy and the whole time kept thinking, what about the legal part, is someone going to take my design and run with it and how do we protect the creative part of our farmgirl " works of heart" ???
I really would like to see something written up in the mag. or even a thread here would help many of us, I am sure.

Any/all input will be appreciated !!

Hugs,
ZenGoddess/Southernplum

Well Cindy, from what I've been told and read when I applied for my copyright was that you really can't protect yourself until or unless someone copies your design and you know about it. Then you have all the legal fees to file a law suit against them.
That is why I'm glad I have these pre-paid legal services so in case that happens to me I already have a law firm working for me. If you want more info on that email me.
