 Hi Farm Girl Friends,
Does anyone have a really good natural mosquito repellent recipe??My family went camping this last weekend for motners day and boy did my son get bit up it was awful he even has a couple of scars from scrathing I tried just about everything Avon skin so soft and deet which has a lot of chemicals in it so if any of you could help me I would be grateful beacuse the mosquito's are horrible her in the Sacramento area because of all th erain we had had and the HEAT yuck!! I'm reading your recipe. Is that 1/2 cup of the vinegar? My hubby fishes a lot and I'm also looking for a good repellant.

Hi Karyn! Here is a great recipe for you.
Place 1/2 cup organic apple vinegar into a large mixing bowl.
Mix into the organic apple vinegar 1/2 cup of vodka.
Place 2 tablespoons of citronella oil into the above stated mixture.
Mix thoroughly.
Using a funnel transfer contents of mixing bowl into a small spray bottle.
Apply liberally for best effect.
